Currently, 20 companies are active in Technopark: Informatics Technologies, GSM Communication Technologies, Wireless Communication Systems, Built-in and Software Systems, Intelligent Traffic Control and Speed Detection Cameras, Alternative Energy Systems, Recycling of Waste-Organic Substances and Biodiesel Production.

Also, Technopark offers the youth, civil servants and staff in the private sector technological education opportunities in entrepreneurship, innovation, project administration, geographical information systems, and microcontroller-based electronic circuit design.

In the technology and innovation laboratory in Technopark, it is aimed at collecting data on Geographical Information Systems, sharing them with related government bodies and local administration units, providing the standardization of Geographical Information Systems data and conducting advanced research studies in the field of Geographical Information Systems.

In line with aforementioned studies, SPICE-oriented Proteus Design and simulation software, and automatic PCB production system were built in the innovation and technology laboratories to provide researchers, students and companies in TRNC with opportunities to design and produce electronic circuits.

A high-quality laboratory which includes a 3D laser printer, 3D scanner, laser drilling and CNC stand is under construction in order to support Research and Development studies in the field of mecatronics and other fields and also to meet prototype production needs of the small and medium sized enterprises.

Various studies to expand Innovative and Technological activities in TRNC have been going on in liaison with Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry, small and medium sized enterprises, the public sector and universities.
